Dear Parents,
HAPPY
MOTHERS’ DAY to all the magnificent Moms in our preschool! We are so
blessed that you have entrusted your most precious gift to us and have chosen
Lil’ Lighthouse as your child’s preschool. Our prayer for you this month is
that you will find time to relax and be refreshed in your walk with the Lord so
you can be the Mom God has called you to be!!!
For all TTh
moms and students, we will be having a “Mommy & Me” picnic lunch
(bring your own) at 12 noon on May 9th and for all MWF students, we will have the
“Mommy & Me” picnic lunch (bring your own) at 12 noon on May 10th. TK can
come either day! Please meet
in the Family Room (Faith Café) (on the school side) first for a
short time with Mrs. Menashe and then we will break for our picnic lunch
together. There
is NO ENRICHMENT either day. Plan
to have a special afternoon with Mommy.
Daddy &
Me will be exactly the same. TTH dads
come May 28th, MWF dads come June 3rd, and TK dads come
either day. We look forward to your
visit.
Our themes
this month are “Mothers are special and learning more about machines.” We will
be starting practice for graduation with our 3 day and TK classes. Even if your 3 day child is returning in
the fall to our 5 Day or TK, they WILL graduate with their 3 day classmates.
The TK graduation is on June 4th & the 3 day graduation is on
June 5th. More information will be coming about the graduation
ceremony and end of the year party (on campus). Both graduation ceremonies are
at 5:30 p.m. in the Worship Center.
REMINDERS

for all of the events this month. If you have questions about anything,
please feel free to ask!!

& 10th Mommy & Me - See Above.
* Our field trip this month is to Tanaka Farms on May 16th
& 17th to pick strawberries and learn more about God’s
growing world. Watch for more information coming home in the backpacks & by
email. All TK will go on May 17th. Per
our policy, no siblings (except nursing babies) are allowed on the field trip!! No Enrichment either day.
* No school on May 27th for
the Memorial Day holiday.

* May 29th
Last day of Enrichment (afternoon Program) for 3 day students
* May 30th End of the Year party for 2 day students at
Tewinkle Park , 9-11 a.m. All parents
are welcome and are to bring food. Your Room Mom will coordinate. There is no Enrichment
for 2 day students. It is the last day
of Enrichment for TK.
* May 31st Adventure City Field Trip for 3 day and TK
students. This is for 1 adult for each
student. No siblings please.
* June 3rd
Daddy & Me for 3 Day & TK
* June
4th TK (5 Day) Graduation
practice and class party (8:30 – 10:30 a.m.) All parents welcome and are to bring snacks to the TK party! Your Room Mom will coordinate. TK Graduation @ 5:30 p.m. in the Worship

parties 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. All parents
welcome and are to bring snacks to 3 Day Parties! Your Room Mom will
coordinate the party plans with you. PreK
Graduation @ 5:30 p.m. in the Worship Center.
All 3 Day students graduate even if they are continuing with us next
year.
