Character Building Emphasis: Learning to Say Thank You

Memory Verse: “Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise”. Psalm 100:4

Language and Vocabulary:

Vegetable naming, sorting, learning about the grocery store.

1. Thanksgiving theme, sharing vocabulary.
2. Cooking experiences.
3. Colors – red, blue, yellow, orange, brown, and gold.
4. Health habits/nutrition.
5. Directional and positional concepts – up and down.
6. Food groups.
7. Shape – Triangle.
8. Letters – Hh, Ii, Jj

Skills

Fine Motor:
Lacing, painting, cutting, coloring, play dough manipulation, stringing, tower building, making vertical lines and path tracing.

Gross Motor:
Organized games, jumping, ball handling, balance.

Premath:
One-to-one correspondence, calendar activities, sorting, making sets, patterning, tall and short, triangle.

Perception:
Same and different, draw a person, puzzles, copying block peg and bead designs, patterning.

Sensory Skills:
Introducing all five senses.
